The structural design office K-MELETES was established in Athens in 2010 and is a rapidly growing company that provides specialized consulting services and engineering management, aiming at the quality, completeness and integrity of the finished product, providing integrated solutions to complex and specialized problems, focusing on Innovation in structural Design.

K-MELETES was founded by the Civil Engineer Christos Karnavezos , who has  considerable experience in previous studies and engineering consultancy services both in public and private projects.

K-MELETES owes its dynamic growth to its think-tank. All engineers have the highest university education and possess extensive technical experience in their field. The office in the past maintained a longstanding collaboration with Mr.Zoulas, who was specialized in the design and analysis of steel structures, with a focus on structures of long spans.  The coexistence of engineers with diversified experience from various sectors, under common management, offers the possibility of a comprehensive treatment of complex projects. In addition, K-MELETES is able to undertake all studies and supportive services, including cost assessment and management, necessary to implement a project, thus maximizing efficiency and reducing resources management problems. 

The company’s professional activities span an extensive area of structural design projects of all kind of materials (reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, wood) including (but not limited to) hatcheries, industrial buildings (food sector, fuel sector, waste management), sport facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, hydraulics pipeline networks, pump stations, liquid-containing structures, office buildings, marine facilities, residential buildings. Furthermore the team cooperates with professional specialists, when it is dictated by the project’s requirements.
